It looks like for the authors of ATP only non-Muslim artifacts are Pakistani heritage. I have not seen anyone here shedding tears on the poor condition of our mosques and dargahs. How can a “progressive and modern” person feel remorseful on loss of Islamic heritage. Surely that would mean Islamic fundamentalism. However these very “liberal” people become overly concerned the moment such actions involve any non-Muslim artifacts. The fact is that such corrupt activities have been happening in Pakistan for long but “educated” Pakistanis find it worrying only when it does not have anything to do with Islam.
