I worked in Pakistan on a development project for a number of years and this is a beautiful description of the school days of many children even today.
Very nicely written. My school memories are different but I wonder why our school memories and childhood memories always sound so sweet, even when the activities themselves were not always sweet or memorable at the time. Is it because there was something special in those days or simply that what has gone by looks nicer than it was and we miss when we were younger? I wonder.
