We really need to work hard on developing indigenous solar industry. I have been working for developing solution for my home for last 6 months. It is disappointing that our government is charging 27% tax on import of solar cells/panel even though in most other countries government gives subsidies on solar equipment to encourage its use. The other issue is we dont have any system of selling extra energy generated to power companies which impacts overall cost of installation as all extra energy produced goes to waste.
