a pear as “an apple.”

And I think “Baitul khala” is a fancy word for “Paw-khana,”
just as “lavatory” is a fancy word for “toilet.” ( This was in
response to MQ’s query about an Urdu substitute for the
high-falutin “Akhraaj-i-hangaami.”)

Your delightful post has, at least, a kernel of an important lesson for those experts who constantly worry about the obesity epidemic among American school kids. Your friend, the cricketer, couldn’t gather any fat bcause he liked Kinnoos! Kinnoos just might be the magic potions that can solve the great American “fat” problem.
