Having found you excellent website I wondered if you can help me. I am researching my family tree and know that my Great grandfather was connected with the Kotree Sind Ferry/Railway and would like to find out more.
His name was Richard Tickner (born abt 1838) married to Catherine Josephine Hankinson (born 1847) in 1866 in Bombay.
I believe that his wife died in Kotree in 1877 and Richard returned to the UK.
Any information regarding to his life or work would be welcome.
Many thanks
