I feel sorry for the poor guy. But more than that I find this very very funny. Actually, hilarious.

Yes, indeed, “hum inqilab kay leeaye aeen hai” and “iss garmi meiN kouN itna jaloos karta hai?”

The logic is impeccable. How can you have a revolution if the police starts beating up protesters! “Police waaley humaiN maareiN gay naeeN, tabb inqilab aaye ga!” Each line is more beautiful than the other: “Jab inqilab ki zaroorat hoti hai, ghar meiN har banda nikal aata hai?” Or how about this clincher: “Yeh mairey bhai garmee meiN kharab hou gayeN haiN!”

But what I love the most is the “MeiN Koee Jhoot Booliya?” routine. Iss saadgi pay aap ki qurban jaaeaye!

(I thought of trying to translate this, but I think that is not just impossible but also unconscionable. This has to be enjoyed in all its vernacular glory. I don’t want to be unkind to the young lad who seems well-meaning and should be commended for coming out and speaking up. But in the realm of funny videos this has to rank waaay up there, probably the only competition it has is from news reporter Chand Nawab, here).

Yes it is quite funny on the face of it. But on a serious note we should understand that Raymond Davis issue is so enormous that even ‘burger bachay’ like this kid have also come out to protest.

Funny. Not because he is “nazuk” or “burger” of whatever. That is also a part of Pakistan and is not funny in itself. I think what makes this funny is the adorable neivite of this youngster about what inquilab means.
We will ask for it. One jalsa. Three naaras. A few outings in the sun. As is that is the recipe for inquilab. Not his fault, our politicians and media are loose with that word and that is what the impression on young minds must be.

Some comments from the ATP Facebook page:

    - “ye bahi garmi mai kharab hoguye hain … epic !”
    - “This video is hillarious… as good as Chand Nawab’s video.”
    - ” Imran Khan ke Nazuk Nazuk ‘Inqalabi’.”
    - “Well at least he was on the street, and you and me are on social network site commenting…..”
    - “What Matters Is Your Spirit and Commitment ! Speak Out Of Your Heart !! It Doesn’t Matter How Do You Speak. I Admire His Spirit, I Do !!! The Admin Of This Page Should be Ashamed Of Making Fun Of Whoever Was In The Video. Atleast They Went Out On the Road Because They have In Pain In Their Hearts. Not Like You Admin Of Such Pages Who Only Talk While Sitting in their Air Conditioners. Admin You Know What??? You Are Running These Pages Just To Play With Emotions… You People Exploit Our Emotions and Patriotism Just To Increase Traffic On Your Pages So That You Could Earn Money From Adds On Your Website. Its A Real Shame”
    - “Feel sorry for the kid (and others like him). Wonder what he really expected – and what made him ‘take to the streets’ – to the inconvenience of being out of his comfort zone: “hamein kiya zaroorat parree hae… Aur Imran Khan ko kiya zaroorat parree hae” are very genuine questions. I would like to know as well…”

Pakistan at this juncture is a strange country….

i could see in democracy where popular leaders can be corrupt and inept….but in Pakistan, we have ‘inept corruption’ and truly disliked leaders who are not dictators!

Imran doesn’t need to change his believes; he can only help change the fortune of the country if he gets there. He should start building the big tent where everyone is welcome.

There is another way of looking at the concept of this lad. Imran always talks of a peaceful INQILAB. PTI realises that any bloody revolution on the streets may destabilize Pakistan and invoke a forced military intervention a la Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.

The boy is right in asserting a revolution through peaceful means. He is complaining that the police is depriving him of a peaceful protest and is right. Police that day was indeed provocative and the stage was set for a violent retort. PTI leadership did not let it happen.

Blah Blah Blah !!! . This guy was in another way representing youth and instead of showing anger and talking in this way he gave a message to those , who really do not want youth of Pakistan to do any thing , that we are weak and we can not do any thing. Its a shame the way he was talking. I really advise such “Burger” “Mummy Daddy” people to stay home. Coming out and talking about revolution is not there job.

Such Kids do not even know the meaning of revolution.

Imran Khan isnt doomed…. it is actually his success that this mummy daddy type generation is out on the roads and actually voicing their concerns!!! Hats off to Imran Khan and to this young guy for coming out and expressing!

@Imran. Thanks for that comment. I am also stuck by how many comments are stuck up about this and being so defensive. I think they are Imran supporter. I am too. And I agree with this kids main points. But that does not mean that I cannot see the humor in this. It does really look like a parody and is really funny.
When we cannot laugh at ourselves, it is time to cry at ourselves.
