Adil Najam
The waters continue to rise. And so does the death toll. The number for today is at least 417, and in all certainty more. That that is just for Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. All provinces and all parts of Pakistan are hit.
ATP will be sending all of its revenue to relief agencies working with the poor hit by these flood. We urge our readers to do the same.
More details on this calamity here; and a pictorial post of the misery it has brought, here.
Adil Najam, I fear that the number has already gone up. But I doubt if your readers or most Pakistanis care, because on this only (unlike the plane crash) only poor people suffer!
Mrs. Aziz,
That is good deed. May allah give you reward for it.
Even though my family lives in Pakistan, I cant think of better non-profit organization then Edhi Foundation therefore, your question is pertinent one.
Is there a relief organization that can best respond to natural disasters in Pakistan.
I just sent some money to Edhi foundation. What are other ways to help them please.
What else do people expect if we have chosen a corrupt leader like Zaradi and Co.
@Asad, chamn main wohee hoya hai jo app sub nay, hum sub nay boya hai.
I wonder how long will it take the Pakistanis to blame the Americans or Indians for all the destruction that was caused by the recent floods.
