Qayaas, an Islamabad based progressive rock band has released a teaser of its song “Mera Wana” on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzqYc5lurxs
it gives voice to the All of the politically motivated youth on this forum are requested to check it out. Here’s what the band has to say about the song in their own words

“This is our statement against the so called “War on Terror”. It is ironic that they kill civilians including women and young children through drone strikes yet talk about making this world a peaceful place. We as a nation are going through a tough time. For once, this should not be politicized further as it has certainly not helped. We need to take int account a common man’s view and expand upon it. In the end, they can do whatever they want but we are here and we are not going anywhere.”

No matter how attractive the monetary reward that someone offers you might be, do NOT accept it if it means that that someone can bring his/her war to your land and make it your war as well. The price you pay will never match that reward whether paid lumpsome or in installments.
