I stumbled upon this picture on Flickr. In backdrop of recent US elections and its impacts on Pakistan, I found it quite interesting.
What comes to your mind? Suggest a caption please!

Its quite pitiful that Pakistanis are being blown to bits daily by predator drones and helicopter gun ships and the only resistance we can muster is to use the flag of our tormentors as a prayer rug.
I think he is Begging while sitting on yhis flag.As our Govt. is begging from the other countries in the form of grant.Where is the tax going, which we pay???????
While I like the vast majority of posts on Pakistaniat that center around a single interesting image, I have to tell you that pictures like this give a tabloid-like quality to this otherwise well-respected site.
I know your goal is to represent the entire spectrum of Pakistaniat, but do we really need to every idiot in every corner of the country?
As mentioned by ‘Watan Aziz’ above, this man doesn’t seem like he is intentionally trying to make a statement by sitting on a flag. It definitely looks like someone staged this photograph, since it plays right into the stereotype the West has: a bearded, poor man who seems to have stepped right out of the tribal areas.
For one, this picture was most likely staged.
But beyond that, it is also quite likely that the gentleman does not know what the cloth represents.
And the right answer (ala Colin Powel) is that as long as the cloth is clean (which it appears to be), the gentleman’s prayers (if performed) are per acceptable norms.
None of us are appointed to pronounce on the intentions of others.
Khaliq knows; and knows best.
I am unable to suggest any comment, the only thing that I hope is that this old man I hope is not using it for saying his prayers.
