Somebody in Larkana has hung metal utensils on branches to get them dried after washing. This photo is from December 4, 2009.

    Owais, I think you are absolutely right however, I think the silver plating or Qalai is mostly done or used to be done on steel utensils, and the round pot at the bottom right of the picture seems like molded aluminum.

    I might be wrong, maybe whoever took the picture might know more.

    I was stuck at this photo because I’ve never seen tree branches being used for drying pots and pans before :)

    Some of these pots and pans look brand new.

    Could this way of drying be part of plating (qalai) process? I don’ know.
