[...] All Things Pakistan has photographs (warning: The images are from the bomb blast site.). While the post itself has little commentary, the comments discuss the blast and Musharraf’s government. The said suicide bombing has occurred right underneath where my office is in F-8 Markaz. The blast was so powerful that it has broken all the balcony side windows of my office and has literally cracked the plaster and the blew the wooden doors from its locked bolts! The blast was potent because the wave front was in between two buildings or plazas which had lead to the Islamabad Courts. So far 20 people are reported dead and equal number injured. [...]
Aren’t lawyers the most sensible segment in the society today? There are liberals and conservatives amongst them too. But they have all joined hands for the supremacy of law.
Musharraf is desperately trying to derail their movement by pitting liberals against the mullahs. Instead of getting conned by Mush, the nation should follow the lead of the lawyers.
Just in, Aaj TV has reported that PPP is now pointing fingers at the govt for Islamabad bombing. Shah Mahmood Quereshi and another leader addresses a press conference said there is no evidence of suicide bombing.
The lawyers and General Gul had stated the same yesterday.
- American got into iraq and iraq which never witnessed the bomb explosion rocked with suicide bombings.
- Pakistan which never witness suicide bombing, witnessed this trend starting from 2000.
All of readers must analyse this fact that attempting a suicide is not a simple choice.
We must look who are beneficieries of these so called suicide bombings…
Have any body listened about mind control techniques developed by westerns:)

One tragic event after another in Pakistan and a very painful experience to watch the largely honest and hardworking silent majority suffer the most. Yes, Gen-Prez “the weak do not survive, thanks in parts to the baloney-game-plan of expediency. For the Elite, it’s all a game of elegant maneuvers and their polished ways. All the goli-baazi about the “hidden hand and “theories and appointing committees to look into the other committees and agencies are nothing more than hogwash. Their statements and rhetoric appear to exult and the setting mocks the intelligence of the common people. One does not need to have access to the Agencies spooks to see through this game of “napak politics in Pakland, a.k.a. the Islamic Republic of Pakistan!
The status quo is being stretched to test its limits. The stage is being set for more of the same – unfortunately, more massacres and mayhem is in the works!
Nihari,
Pushing Pakistan into chaos and anarchy is a win-win situation for Mush. He clings on to power as the lawyers’ movement is stymied.
In the worst case the country breaks up and he gives MQM their own coastal country.
Dear editors, I find some of the supposed humor by some posters very offending. I consider myself a liberal, do not like Musharraf, and think that tehe rise of religious extremism is the single worst think happening to Pakistan. But the language used in some comments and teh incitement to violence even for so called humor is really in bad taste. Brings this place to the level of YouTube comments with personal attacks and bazaari language. I can see that you try to sometimes remove these comments after they are posted. But please try to institute stronger moderation. Otherwise these fanatics of left and right will drive reasonable people away. Maybe that is what they are trying to do.
