This photo is courtesty of Mr. Khadem Hossein. It shows a barber shop in Karachi. I think it is a very creative name for this business.

A similar name for a mithai (sweets) shop could be “Halwaai Adda” (from hawaai adda). Meh nevermind, that sounded lame.

    Hi Owais,

Since I couldnt find an email address to contact Pakistaniat.com, I thought I’d message you here. I there an email address you could refer me to? This concerns a rather urgent request for a documentary interview on Pakistani bloggers (particularly those blogging about the emergency). If possible, do contact me. Im at work till late evening, and can contact you via telephone if you send me a number.

    Cheers,

    Zebunnisa
