    My second guess is Quetta.

    Beautiful picture. I recall scenes like this when arriving at night or in the early hours in Pakistan via an airplane.

    My guess is Karachi. Picture does not look like Islamabad.

    I don’t think it is Islamabad… the lights don’t seem aligned in a perfect grid. Also, from the picture it seems the cit is surrounded on more than one side by mountains. My guess is Abbotabad. Or is it called something else now?

    judging from the lights abruptly ending along a straight line, i would guess Karachi ? Near the shore ?
