I was watching the dramatic developments regarding Chief Justice of Pakistan’s case on GEO news today and wondering how much more we have to see after seeing police misbehaving with Chief Justice and his family.
Little did I know what was in store for me. During Kamran Khan’s show, Ansaar Abassi – investigative editor of The News, Islamabad – brought viewers attention to a shocking incident which happened during a live Voice of America ( VOA ) radio show interview (Round Table) yesterday (Listen by clicking audio symbol below)

Not surprisingly, it involves our Law Minister, Mr. Wasi Zafar. We have often read various reports about public displays of misbehaviors by Federal Minister for Law Wasi Zafar. But this is quite unbelievable.
Listen to the abusive language after the 34th minutes in particular. But also listen to the tone of the discussion of the entire interview in general. This, then, is our Federal Law Minister in action. Its worth hearing.
The Federal Minister said all this in response to a story by the investigative editor The News in which he wrote about the Law Minister’s “long arm of law.” Apparently he doesn’t know the difference between long arm and giving “a big hand.”
Listen to the clip and judge for yourself. I am just speechless!
ADDED 14 March: Here is the video clip of the report on this incident on GEO.
(Report on this in The News).

Alas, I wish he would have had fear of Allah, then it was not at all possible that would have treated others like this.
But there is nothing to worry about.

He will learn a lesson soon.
Fear of Allah was the only thing which kept “UMAR ra” away from bed in the nights and made him to walk around in the city, just to make sure there is no injustice happening to anyone in his rule.
It reminds me of the greatest quote of Human Freedom by Hazrat Umar ra. which he wrote to one of his governors.
“Allah has created his me as Free, What made you think of them as slaves”
It was possible that the Honorable minister would have earned respect and prestige in the eye of people, but of course he would have remained thirsty for not having such “RESPECTS” from all over the world.
It’s a shame to know that people like Wasi Zafar are running the government and our future lie in their hands. After listening to the above recording, it can be clearly judged that Ansar Abbasi was being precise and commenting on the topic given by the hosts, regarding the “Chief Justice Trialâ€
AOA, yaar I was actually looking for a song sung by Asad Amanat Ali khan and ended up on this forum.
All I can say is that “hamaray hukmuran hum ma sa he chunay jatay hain”.
For all those who think that our corrupted culture needs to be changed but living abroad for a better, safer, secure life style, Lets go back?
Every single person from lowest to the highest grade is not performing his/her duty.(inc me)

Imagine what is a life of a Poor person or ( safaid Poosh) in Pakistan.
GOD Bless Pakistan
They are not safe while ‘creatures’ like this are on the lose.
Remember his slapping a poor waiter in the hotel? And his son beating a passenger who objected on crossing the line?
God bless Pakistan and poor Pakistanis.

Because we have become cowards and have lost the moral compass. This is self imposed amnesia when faced with these incidents.
HE LOOKS LIKE A RIKSHAW DRIVER
Bhai don’t insult rikshaw drivers. They have self respect as well.
