One tragic event after another in Pakistan and a very painful experience to watch the largely honest and hardworking silent majority suffer the most. Yes, Gen-Prez “the weak do not survive
Dear editors, I find some of the supposed humor by some posters very offending. I consider myself a liberal, do not like Musharraf, and think that tehe rise of religious extremism is the single worst think happening to Pakistan. But the language used in some comments and teh incitement to violence even for so called humor is really in bad taste. Brings this place to the level of YouTube comments with personal attacks and bazaari language. I can see that you try to sometimes remove these comments after they are posted. But please try to institute stronger moderation. Otherwise these fanatics of left and right will drive reasonable people away. Maybe that is what they are trying to do.
ISLAMABAD – A battle in the Pakistani hinterlands could be just what the doctor ordered for an embattled President General Pervez Musharraf. But it won’t come without a price.
While All Things Pakistan has remained alive and online, it has been dormant since June 11, 2011 - when, on the blog's 5th anniversary, we decided that it was time to move on. We have been heartened by your messages and the fact that a steady traffic has continued to enjoy the archived content on ATP.
While the blog itself will remain dormant, we are now beginning to add occasional (but infrequent) new material by the original authors of the blog, mostly to archive what they may now publish elsewhere. We will also be updating older posts to make sure that new readers who stumble onto this site still find it useful.
We hope you will continue to find ATP a useful venue to reflect upon and express your Pakistaniat. - Editors
– American got into iraq and iraq which never witnessed the bomb explosion rocked with suicide bombings.
– Pakistan which never witness suicide bombing, witnessed this trend starting from 2000.
All of readers must analyse this fact that attempting a suicide is not a simple choice.
We must look who are beneficieries of these so called suicide bombings…
Have any body listened about mind control techniques developed by westerns:)

Nihari,
Pushing Pakistan into chaos and anarchy is a win-win situation for Mush. He clings on to power as the lawyers’ movement is stymied.
In the worst case the country breaks up and he gives MQM their own coastal country.
