This is good shot to display the dark side of Pakistan’s Future. He should have opportunity to get education. Anyway, Allah bless him
God Damn the system that forces such young children to pick tools instead of toys at such tender ages.
Kewl pic indeed but no kewl future guaranteed for this kid or the country where such things happen.
This poor kid hides his eyes with sunglasses to protect it from the harsh sun whereas we as a nation hide our eyes from all realities and build mirages.
A silent Prayer for the kid
He is our future,
Please gather your thoughts on the best way to help pakistan’s future….
One thing that comes to my mind is absence of ‘equal opportunties’. This boy could have an opportunity to follow his dreams. Confidence on his face and in his posture makes you think.
God bless him and millions like him in Pakistan and everywhere.
Balochi Bekham.
y have we created an elusive world where the majority can’t enter, only dream….
fascinating picture
beautiful photograph….
unimaginably harsh working conditions…He is lucky to have acquired a pair of shades from somewhere….
Owais, With this remarkable shot I think this series can be something to look for in the future. This is yet an other example of how this blog has evolved; one great idea at a time. Even though sometimes I miss the days when there was much less traffic.
About the picture and the kid, just two words in Urdu: kia kehney!!
I hear the words somewhere in the background: “merey khaab hein meri kul poonji..”
