Is it not possible that this donkey might have gone pink with shame on what is happening around him in this country ???

*ahem* these exist too…
arranged marriages are the norm, I’m afraid ;)
@Tina,
thanks for giving me infos on
donkey wears and make-ups.
not to forget donkey’s wedding parlours.
ah, Rafay, no need for sarcasm, I have also seen well-groomed donkeys decorated with patterns in henna…they race them in spare time too and these donkeys get pretty good food….
like a camel or a buffalo, a donkey is too valuable an animal to treat too badly and many of them get good care within the means of the family who owns them.
@Tina,
you should know that Pakistan is an ecologist country
and they love and respect animals, the donkeys visit
the hair-dresser regularly, as they are very handsome
and by nature not very ‘hairy’, they sing very well, they
are even imitated, they participate regularly in Holy
festivals, active in the local politics, very many of them
well dressed, dandy, and eloquent.
nice one
picture may have been doctored. Donkey’s tail, the part which shows beneath the cart shaft, and the hooves are not dyed. Interestingly, donkey looks shaved also. Wonder why?
In Pakistan they dye little chicks bright colors and sell them to children. They only survive a few hours or days, usually. To me this is both wasteful and cruel.
I visited a family once and the kids had left the bright pink dead chicks under the tables in the sitting room, and Mom scolded them. I think lack of care and mishandling kill the chicks but it could be the dye too. Can’t say for sure.
