Through this 18th amendment, our “patriotic and democracy lover “politicians have decided to put judiciary under their command, while for themselves ,they have abolished the condition of holding elections within plotical parties . So Sharifs,Bhuttos,Altafs,Walis,Maulanas will rule and rule as kings in their “jagirs” after the abolishment of concurrent list
Now with this “great’ amendment, they will “mend “their ways and soon we will see the scenes of historic plunder of national wealth, never witnessed before.
Pakistan will crumble and hungry, devastated poors will die miserable deaths.
    Whom they are befooling ?

  2. 18th Amendment, as everyone knows, is an historical event. We bless for our country and all national leaders who have paved a way for their own safe-guard. Now we expect that our policy maker will transform long awaited economic benefits to Public who is already suffering a lot. However, the denial of Party election is clearly against democracy and it reflects the intention of our esteemed leadership that want to promote imperialism.

Let’s not uncork the champagne bottles. Not yet. Let’s see where the tussle between the judiciary and Zardari will lead us. And that old fox Nawaz Sharif is still hoping against hope for mid term elections when he can return again. The CJ is hell bent on trying Zardari for his past crimes. A lot of political drama ahead of us. And ah, Kayani’s term is coming to an end. Who will be the next Army chief? Who gets to appoint the next chief – America, Gilani or Zardari?

Great moment. I have praise for the parliament. Ch. Nisar’s speech as opposition leader was very impressive.

  5. Amna Zaman says:

I believe in separation of powers. Army as an institution has no right to interfere in the politics of the country. Democracy must prevail and a pure democracy without corruption should exist for the country to thrive. At times of dictatorship extremists have always gotten a freehand and cashed the opportunity of political instability.
