It was amazing how Afridi was hitting sixes last night. He is true legend but lack of sense to handle the situations fails him most of the times. I wish he keeps on playing like this & his innings help Paksitan to bring World Cup 2007 home coz West indian pitches will be really suitable for a batsman like Shahid Khan Afridi. Best of Luck “LaLa”
There you again Eidee mian. I saw the match… and it wasn’t a sarcastic comment but a statement of fact. It was not an insult but rather praise of Afridi’s unorthodox style.
Talented, yes. But erratic. The previous game was as depressing as this wasexciting for Pakistan.
Brilliant performance by Pakistan in today’s match! This team is BY FAR the most talented when compared to other teams…they just need to get their discipline right.
Listening to the commentators I was amused…always chiding Pakistan for bad discipline, poor technique, horrible fielding…well, results speak for themselves don’t they? One S.A. commentator made a sarcastic remark about Afridi’s sweep shot saying that he hadn’t seen it in the MCC manual….which leads me to wonder, was reverse swing in their stupid manual when Wasim and Waqar annhilated their batting order in the early nineties?
that was a great innnigs however, not so great here… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqgTZUw09T8
