I think this should not be difficult but lets see. Can you identify what this is? Where? And what is that in the background?

The photo quiz format works because the background detail is what actually gives it away — half the fun is spotting the thing you’re not supposed to be looking at. I gave it a guess before reading the comments, which is usually a mistake. When I want a break from squinting at old photos, I sometimes play a round of the bluffing game at mimicparty.me with friends.
The carved wooden facade in the foreground looks like the kind of old haveli woodwork you see in Lahore or Peshawar, and that structure in the background could be a watchtower or a shrine dome depending on the angle. Quizzes like this are a nice break from screen time, though when I want something more interactive with friends I sometimes open krillion.me for a quick round.
The quiz format reminds me of the old “identify this landmark” puzzles where the background detail is usually the real giveaway, not the main object. Guessing the most common answer is its own kind of challenge, much like the daily round on noillirk.app where you try to match the crowd’s picks.
Zaidan or Zaida is in Topi to be precise, one of its largest towns. It is 12 km from Topi, 10 km from Swabi and around 17-18 km from GIKI. You can reach there from GIKI campus in roughly 10 minutes. If you are travelling from Tarbela towards Swabi, you will come across Topi and then small towns of Marghez (probably the smallest town of Topi), Kla Bat and then Zaidan.
Maybe, you are right. I drove past GIKI a few years ago, but since I had gone from Islamabad I approached it via Tarbela and didn’t get the sense it was anywhere near Takht Bahi.
I don’t know about Zaidane, but there is one Zaida in Swabi district.
