Once again it is the season of silly-talk in Pakistan. There are rumors. There is chatter. There are theories. And there is endless discussion. Supposedly ‘change’ is in the offing. But, then, change is always in the offing in Pakistan. If, indeed, change is coming, what would you prefer? What would you like to see happening?
Everyone seems convinced that some political change is coming. Politicians seem to be taking the talk seriously. And the media is having a field day concocting conspiracies spun around so-called ‘andar ki baat‘. Everyone seems to have a theory. If you have one, please let us know. But, before that, please vote in our poll and tell us what you would LIKE TO SEE happening (not, what you think will happen; but what you would like to happen)!

And the difference between the educated and the uneducated of Pakistan?
The idle gossip, rumors and speculations are in perfectly formed “gitter-mitter”.
Let us turn this page too and not waste time in idle gossip, rumors and speculations!
Pakistan is a heavily dominated feudalist society, where votes are casted on clan (braadri) affiliation, sardar/wadera orders, gunpoint, monetary rewards, and love for leader. Rather than the manifesto, ideology and previous performance of the party or character of the particular candidate, above mentioned pressures decide the fate of the country.
Does western style democracy of ‘one person – one vote’ suites Pakistani society?
Food for thought!!!
The one thing Pakistani nation or Pakistani President or even the parliament could do ,If God have mercy on this nation ,and if some miracle can usr ,that this God forsaken land of pure be sub contracted to only one credible man in this country and that is Imran Khan .(This happened in France in the case of Charles degal ,so be it here in Pakistan.)
Let him take care of all the legal and political mambo jumbo. He is the only man in this country ,even if you agree or disagree with him , who has a vision or his own political philosophy .At least we will be rid of these political pygmies who are scoundring around on the political scene with no other reason, no talent rather just because of their fathers ,fore fathers and there wealth.
Let this self made hero Pakistan do something better for this pathetic nation and its filthy socio-political land scape.
Frank;y, I am getting tired of all the time that is being wasted by the media on this silly issue and how they are spinning stories and theories. There is a flood to deal with, guys! That is far far more important.
I think best option is to follow the headline of your last post: ‘dekho! is ko take it easy lo.’
