    I read the text of Hadood laws. I agree with you that the punishment for the accuser in case of adultery is not in Quran but in Hadees. Tradition says that Hazrat Umar Farooq had punished an accuser of adultery with 80 stripes who could bring up only three witnesses and disqualified him from appearing as a witness in any case in future. I think there should be a stricter punishment for the false accusers in the case of blasphemy as they are guilty of abusing the good name of ‘Rehmatulaalimin’ who was sent by God to save mankind and not to exterminate them.
