Dear Adil,
My condolences to your family. Having lost mine almost 21 years ago in my childhood I do know one thing, all these words of condolences coming from every direction at this point sound just like words and it’s hard to decipher their meaning. In every sense it is an irreparable loss. For me Shazia R. Hussain has summed it up in her lines.
Dear Adil Najam. I do not know if your father ever read your blog. If he did he would have been proud to see the outpouring of goodwill for him through you. I am sure he was proud of you anyhow.
We all tend to take our parents for granted too often. Not realizing till too late just how much they do for us. I know from your other posts that you care deeply for everyone including your parents. May Allah give you strength to bear this loss.
I have also offered fateha for your father as I am sure many have.
My wishes and condolences to all your family.
Dear Dr Adil
I am very sorry froy our loss. inna-lilah-e-wa-inna-ileh-rajeoon. May Allah grant him Jannah. To lose a parent is the greatest of losses and I pray that Allah gives you sabr to bear with this loss.
my condolences to you and your family
I do not know his face or name,
neither his designation
I do not know if he was sick
or called up for no reason
But I am sure, he must be good
to raise someone like you
He must have gone with head held high,
must have been proud of you
And though the hurt won’t go away
this pain will last a lifetime
But he has left this cruel world
for another that’s just sublime
He lives through you, he breathes through you
You are him, he’s alive
Do not depair, ’cause we all care
and pray for which you strive
Shazia Rubab Hussain
inna-lilah-e-wa-inna-ileh-rajeoon.
May the departed soul rest in peace, may his family be granted ’sabr’
Our best wishes and prayers are with entire family. I just offered fateha for the departed soul and would request all readers of this site to do the same.
Dear Dr. Najam…
my deepest sympathies for your loss. May Allah’s endless forgiveness embrace your fathers soul…
I know you only through this blog and that is enough to tell me that your father raised a good son and gave him character and a conscience as well …and that speaks of a life well lived..
May Allah’s mercy temper your sorrow.. Ameen…
Dear Dr. Adil;
May the Almighty grant you the fortitude to bear the loss of your beloved and illustrious father. I am certain he left this life a contented man; brimming with pride in having raised fine specimens of Patriotism and Humanity, with generosity of spirit, in you and your siblings.
Inna lillahe wa inna ilahe rajeoon.
Wa Salaam;
Salim Chowdhrey.
