Lt. Col. Imtiaz Najam, IslamabadLt. Col (R) Imtiaz Najam, father of Adil Najam, passed away in Pakistan on May 23rd. He was 75.

Inna lilah e wa inna ileh rajeoon.

Please pray for the ‘maghfarat’ of deceased soul and ’sabr’ to his family. It is also a part of our Pakistaniat to join each other in our times of sorrow and provide support to each other.

    Dear Dr. Najam, I am so sorry and sad to hear of this loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

    I did not know your father but I know many of your students and from them and from this blog I know ow much of a positive influence and role model you are on all of us. Your father must have been very proud of you and that would have given him great happiness because for parents our children are the most important thing.

    I remember reading the Father’s and Mothers’s day posts you wrote here and thinking that this man must be a good son and a good father himself. I am sure your father felt the same.

    Again, my condolences to you and your family.
