Owais Mughal and Adil Najam

(Readers Beware: This post includes gruesome pictures of murdered Pakistanis, the weak of nerves are warned).

When will this madness stop?

Look at the photo below and tell us your blood does not boil at this murder of Pakistanis. If you are a parent, like we are, you too will scream out in pain. Even if you are not, you cannot be human without seeing this and crying out in pain. Maybe, even in anger.

Forty-nine more Pakistanis died today at the hands of Pakistan’s enemies. And 100 more were injured. All this in an explosion in Peshawar’s busy Soekarno chowk today.

When will this madness stop?

What can one write? What can one say? How do you type out a scream? How do you express that piercing pain in the gut of your stomach, in the depth of your heart?

When will this madness stop?

What madness indeed. They kill little Pakistanis children. Oh God. What cause can ever be worth this.

And the real pain is that too many Pakistanis still support these butchers.

These pictures are really distressing. How can we even look at them. How cruel this is. God’s curse on those who did this!

The madness will and can only stop when we put down our pens and stop typing on our keyboards and take to the streets in the hundreds and thousands – to bring down the walls of the establishments and stakeholders, demanding them to stop policies of appeasement.

Waziristan Taliban are going all out in order to deter a military assault. How come Nawaz Sharif and his PML-N are so quiet ?

One finds himself at loss of words when such tragedies recur and innocent Pakistanis are slaughtered in such a brutal fashion.

Since USA has landed in afghanistan, the bombings have increased.

Im 110% sure that usa is behind the attacks. Regardless where they go, bombings starts to happen.

I agree with Anon, This madness willl only stop if we take out to the streets, topple the current establishment. Youth should act responsible and replace all the theives and corrupt personnel currently in the establishment.

    There’s no other way.

Here is the part that really surprises me.

So, we have Americans wanting to give us 7.5B $ for education, health and development.
And we have these Taliban killing more and more Pakistanis every day.

And who are we angry at: The Americans!

What does that say about us???????

these taliban need to go – the army needs to go into waziristan and clean it up. and people like webudvikling, who believe in conspiracy theories “110%” are part of the problem. as is the jamaat. Luckily their “see no evil” brand of politics is becoming evermore unpopular in Pakistan.

Well, from the looks of it, the operation targeting South Waziristan is only a matter of time. The enemy can be expected to hit out in this desperate manner. Here is to hoping Hakimullah joins his predecessor in hell very soon.

That said, it is disconcerting that after a lull, these attacks seem to have picked up lately. Hopefully with success in Waziristan, they will come to an end again.

The afghan ambassador to the US is pointing fingers at the ISI for the attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul just a few days ago which is nonsense, but in retaliation it will not be surprising if besides the taliban either Afghanistan or India were behind the latest attack in Peshawar .It is best to leave the security activities to the Pakistan army without American dictation as they have done a better job , cleaning up Swat is an example .The americans have been at it for the past eight years in Afghanistan and have made things from bad to worst.

    1. Help the families affected.
    2. Organize peaceful march in each city to show our defiance to this insanity.

Condolence for all the innocent victims in the blast, but it seems some pakistani folks think India or Afghanistan may be linked to the attacks.

You are happy when India is attacked using your proxy brainwashed so called freedom fighters nurtured by pakistan Army. Then you call these terrorists freedom fighters. But when it hits you, they become evil. They are bad muslims when they hit the muslims and good muslims when they hit the non muslims.

Pakistan has been a proxy state for china and america. Pakistan has no legs on stand on its own without these two nations support, because, its masters have tied it with sufficient strings to control it from all ends. You try to be leader and champion of muslim world? reality is that, you are the most deceptive nation in the world, so despite having highest number of muslim countries, you are a sand even in the muslim world, leave aside the rest.

Unless you stand on your own, instead of forwarding your masters agenda, you will not progess. Anyway, I hope and pray , you do well.

When will this stop? Stop blaming the west stop blaming anyone else for this mess. Stop the blame…………..STOP IT FOREVER and take responsibility. For GOD SAKE, For the sake of anything you believe in, for your children’s sake stand up and kill these bastards.Go raid the madrassas, take your children out of there and kill these mullahs with the guns and bombs they have gathered for you. It baffles my mind to see and think how can many cities and villages in Pakistan can still be safe heavens and homes for these people. I cant imagine how people can go burn Christian homes because they burned quran supposedly and no one wants to kill these bastards who kill your kids and your people every day in thousands. Why sectarianism can claim lives of thousands of shias and not one mullah gets killed not one madrassa gets toppled even after these jihadis take responsibility for every bomb and every death on your streets. Where has the humanity gone, why is there so much anger about sect and religion and quran burning and no anger over this. Why do people still find justifications for these animals in form of they have been oppressed by west and they are american agents and blah blah blah. Why is a justification or logic necessary, why do you need to understand why they are doing it. Will an answer to this question stop it???? no b/c there is no end to a madness that has no base. For God sake do not make Pakistan another version of religiously run oppressed nation. We dont want to be Iran or saudi arab…… they are religious fanatics, not ways to God. When will people remember mullahs never wanted Pakistan, and yet once it was made they found it was so easy to make uneducated, poor masses of this nation believe in the fact that Pakistan was made to be an islamic state, no IT WAS NOT. People who didnt want it then became the hunters for prey to fulfill their ideology of twisted religion. The day they set foot here and the day people started looking up to them for answers we started digging our own grave. So yes you have foreign hand but thats not what started this mess. This mess started in 1947 when mullahs took Pakistan hostage by claiming the rights to it b/c it was “MUSLIM” state. IS this the ISLAM you want? So next time when you try to kill another Paksitani b/c he is a christain or shia or jew or whatever please remember to count the number of jihadis, mullahs and madrassas you have destroyed b/c if that number is even 1 less than the number of your own fellow citizens you have killed or are about to kill….may be you dont really understand what the religion of peace and tolerance had stood for. I dont live there anymore, i cant imagine having my children in deaths hands every day, i cant imagine not being able to go out and not know if i will come back home but you know how does it feel like so why are you letting these animals live in your cities and communities. Blame anyone you want but start cleaning house before anything else…..PLEASE………………please dont let another single child go to these madrassas……….PLEASE STOP THE TERROR NOW!!!!!

    Rainbow 22:
Taliban are just that “Taliban” there is no fake or real….for you to even distinguish them as real or fake is highly insulting to people who have died at there hand. If nothing have some respect for those who have died at hands of these animals and save your conspiracy theory. I dont know what more it will take for people like you to come out of their self induced coma and realize that your house is burning and you are standing on top putting more gasoline on it. WAKE UP and try to have some respect for human life

My first thought was to write that you should not put them up. But on second thoughts, you really should. We all need to be horrified by what these terrorists are doing to Pakistanis.

When we nurture vipers on our breast, we can expect to get bitten in the end.

We create the Taliban by allowing religion to drive the state.

We nurture the Taliban by sending our boys to be brainwashed in their madrassas.

Until we close down the madrassas, silence the mullahs, and open secular schools for all our children, we are doomed to terror and violence.

The apologists for these murderers who post here, are the harbingers of the nuclear cloud that is on the horizon, unless Pakistan finally faces up to the real causes of the problems besetting our land.

  29. Yasir says:

This weekend’s dramatic attack on the army headquarters in Rawalpindi, the military center of Pakistan, underscores the volatility and fragility of politics in the world’s second largest Muslim country. The Taliban attackers demonstrated that despite losing the campaign in the Swat Valley this summer, they retain the capacity for terror in the heart of Pakistan – striking, in effect, into the Pentagon of Pakistan. And the attack, which left 16 dead, will almost certainly revive concerns about the capacity of the Pakistani army to protect its nuclear arsenal. If the Taliban can get into army headquarters, where else might it strike next?
