I was watching the dramatic developments regarding Chief Justice of Pakistan’s case on GEO news today and wondering how much more we have to see after seeing police misbehaving with Chief Justice and his family.
Little did I know what was in store for me. During Kamran Khan’s show, Ansaar Abassi – investigative editor of The News, Islamabad – brought viewers attention to a shocking incident which happened during a live Voice of America ( VOA ) radio show interview (Round Table) yesterday (Listen by clicking audio symbol below)

Not surprisingly, it involves our Law Minister, Mr. Wasi Zafar. We have often read various reports about public displays of misbehaviors by Federal Minister for Law Wasi Zafar. But this is quite unbelievable.
Listen to the abusive language after the 34th minutes in particular. But also listen to the tone of the discussion of the entire interview in general. This, then, is our Federal Law Minister in action. Its worth hearing.
The Federal Minister said all this in response to a story by the investigative editor The News in which he wrote about the Law Minister’s “long arm of law.” Apparently he doesn’t know the difference between long arm and giving “a big hand.”

Ansaar Abbasi said that it’s a manufacturing fault (unki tarbeeat hi aisi hoi hai) with the Law minister and that he feels sorry for the Govt. of Pakistan who has made ministers out of jokers like him. Nowhere in that clip has Ansaar said, that the law minister is a mental patient. Kindly give it a hear, again.
Saad, I meant he called him that later in retaliation (on GEO, not the VOA show). If you watch this video clip that has now been added above you will hear something to that effect from Ansar Abbasi.
I would again like to clarify that I am in no way defending Mr. Wasi Zafar’s conduct but I will reiterate that this episode and many other ones also reveal journalist behaviour to be as high handed as any politician’s.
Pakistani media, it’s time for you people to go for the kill :D.
LOL – Musharraf has accidentally given a clue as to what the SJC will be deciding in the case of CJ Pakistan.
He’s currently in a ‘Jalsa’ claiming that he’ll be show the reality of the politicians after the SJC has given it’s verdict in the case of the Chief Justice Pakistan. And that he’ll himself come on the television and declare the verdict once it has been delivered by the Supreme Judicial Council. Now will someone kindly tell me as to what will he be saying on National tv INCASE the SJC issues a verdict in favor of the CJ?? Yep according to the logic and timing of this statement by the President, the decision has already been made and the SJC will simply be used as a rubber stamp.
May Allah Almighty damn him, Amen!
I dont know what to write.. well i have no words left after listening mr wasi ,,,he behaves like a illetrate person its so shamefull to hear such kind of language,, infact mr wasi dont deserve to be a law minsiter , i think we should not blame poor wasi because i feel he is a physco patient.. i suggest him to go to a physco hospital, for a better medical treatment, poor man needs it..
