We have recently been talking about whether people think that they should at all vote in these elections and it is clear from reports that the turnout has been rather low. But it seems that like in all elections there are some who you cannot keep away from polling, even if you wanted to. Here are some images of Pakistanis at Elections 2008.

I am not ready to concede even an inch to Musharraf. After all he has not conceded an inch to the wishes of the Pakistani people in the past. I am going to revel in this moment (for now).
    Hello World, Pakistan is back!

  2. Naveed Siraj says:

adil, according to AAJ TV citing ECP, turn-around is close to 45%, higher than 2002. A more granular look at the 4 provinces shows higher than 2002 turn-out. May Allah give wisdom to the parties to do what is right for the country

  3. Ya there are people who cant stayaway and thereare people whohate to vote also, including ME under MuSH.

  4. MileStone says:

I think Musharraf abide by his words of holding Free, Fair, Transparent and Peaceful elections and now its upto the winners of these elections PPP and PML-N to work together for the betterment of Pakistan and I hope that they would not do the same as what they were doing in the Pakistan i-e. “Politics of Revenge”.

  5. Jalal says:

I voted in this election. Not because I believed in any political party. But because I wanted to minimize the damage that might be meted out to my country if I do not select the least worst candidate.

It might be considered saddening that I had to chose two different political parties for the National and Provincial seats. Why? Because none of the political parties has a clean enough track record for people to vote for them.
