Beautiful place indeed. By bringing this jewel to light you may have done a big dis-service to its heritage. It may soon become BB-Shaheed House….
This is the Residency in Ziarat, Balochistan province of Pakistan, viewed from the rear side. The tall pine trees in the background line the front yard of the Residency. Subject closed! Next quiz please.
I am surprised how few of us got it right: it is of course the Governor’s House in Nathiagali. One of the British inheritances. Anything built by our own rulers would have been much bigger, garish, and have a huge wall around it!
This is the Governor’s house in Nathiagali!!!
It was built by President Ayub Khan and he used to spend his summers here.
Its a beautiful building with sprawling lawns and breathtaking views of the valley!
lol @ Zardari’s Surrey castle. On a serious note, I actually thought this was somewhere in Scotland or Belgium. I am impressed if such a beautiful place exists in Pakistan. I have no clue what it is but may be it is a forest rest house?
