Donkeys (here and here) and Locomotion (at too many places..1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14) have always got prominent place on ATP pages. How about following photo from outside Badshahi mosque Lahore where a donkey and a train come together for this classic donkomotion shoot. ek ticket mein do mazay. Flat face and long face expressions of passengers however, show the ride may not be too exciting.

    In the States this would be quite a hit, but in Pakistan I think donkeys are still too common a sight on the streets for children to get excited at the prospect of meeting one. Still, the man has made some effort–the donkey looks well cared for, is shod, and has a nice clean harness–and it seems to be paying off in customers. He has at least a dozen on that load. Let’s not knock his improvisation.

    I think the look on the children’s face says it all. I would also not be too excited by this.

    I like the title….donkomotion!… donkey-powered 3 cabins ride looking great. Plus children sitting on the roofs in w-11 style shows another culture of our society.
