This Associated Press picture from Emilio Morenatti of two goats (or is it sheep?) being carried at the back of a motorcycle on a road on the outskirts of Islamabad is quite funny. Although not as funny as the Eid Bakra post we carried earlier, here.
One wonders what the cast of characters is thinking. Maybe you can help us here. What might the guy at the back carrying the goat be thinking to himself? Or the driver of the motorcycle? And what about the goat; what thoughts might be passing through its mind? And, finally, what do you think the person in the car from which the photograph was taken is thinking as he sees this? Any thoughts?
Emilio Morenatti’s pictures tend to be thought provoking as well as interesting and we have created multiple ATP posts around them (here, here, here). Thank you, Emilio.

I bet the guy at the back is thinking, “Please lets get to our destination as quickly as possible, before the goats do something that would embarrass them as well as me.”
I think the guys on the motorbike aren’t thinking anything particularly thought provoking… my guess is they’re just glad at having saved the cost of hiring a van to transport the sheep.
The photographer must have felt delirious at finding this look-what-these-guys-are-doing moment.
Noticing how its all four legs having been bundled together with nothing between it and the tarmac below, save a single arm, going past at 40kmph, I would guess the sheep is feeling rather uncomfortable.
One bakra says to the other: “OK, get ready to jump on the count of three”
Motor bike driver has kasaai (butcher) arrangement in mind and then of course spicy liver after the sacrifice.
The rider holding goats is worried if they had relieved themselves earlier and is thinking of demanding double the share of liver; or is he wondering if the car can offer a lift to the goats?!?!
Car driver is admiring their dexterity and wondering how much did the two animals cost.
Its things like these why I am in love with Pakistan
