The photo is of a suzuki pick-up transporting freshly manufactured ‘lotay’ in Karachi. When I first saw this photo at Flickr.com, the photographer Fayyaz Ahmed had captioned it ‘Election Preparation 2007′. I thought that was too funny.

We have discussed about tourism trips to Kaghan-Naran valleys at ATP before. Recently, my friend Shoukat Raza sent me this captivating photo from Naran, Pakistan. A road side drinks seller near Naran has carved out this refrigerator from a natural glacier.

UPDATE (Sept 28, 2007): In a split decision (6-3), the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ruled that Gen. Musharraf can contest the Presidential Elections in uniform.
