Well, he has completed his quota of boom boom for the next 6 matches, so expecting him to click today would have been very optimistic to begin with. This is their typical style. Just when you are about to give up on them completely, they come up with a surprise performance for a match or two to rekindle your hopes. After that, they just get back to their old ways.

Talking of inconsistency, have you guys noticed that lately, our tailenders have often batted better than the top order, and Hafeez who is primarily a batsman has sometimes bowled better than the useless Sami and Rana while failing with the bat. You can pretty much switch the top order with the tail, it might even improve the team’s overall performance.

no boom boom today; out for 8 !

Also, there is no ban right now. 8 games is the worst possible scenario. Most likely it will be less than that.

There is significant difference between verbally abusing someone like Gibbs did and physical threating someone with a weapon (which a bat is in the hands of a frustrated player).

I think the niswar reference is in very bad taste. If this is a joke, it is not a very good one. Ethnic stereotyping is never funny.

  4. The ban is very severe. He didn’t abuse someone like Gibbs still he is being punished severely.

On the other hand,Imran Nazir might face ban as well due to abusive language.

  5. Asma says:

awww, so he’s got banned???? penalty decision came??

Well if the coach gets huge huge sums of money then he should coach on such matters to … anger control management … !

Specially after Gibb’s recent incident … players should be a bit responsible …!
