I think this is some signal on Mall Road.

Apart from the signs, it is intersting to see the banner saying “Mubarak Ho mubarak Ho”. These banners praising Army/Musharraf and other people of the ruling elite are displayed all over the city with the money of tax payers from our dying middle class (Upper class dont pay taxes anyway).

The situation in pakistan is pathentic, I get distressed even thinking of it.

These are new signs installed by the City Administration. I have seen couple more like these where they have forgot to remove old one.

And on few roads, there are too much signs, i thought today to take my camera on road for taking few pictures – you took my words :)

Well, the two contradictory signs are just a way of saying, we’re going to get you no matter what.

we shudnt act like ostritch, All things Pakistan makes me laugh. You can write about ROOF AFZA, Changa manga, you can write posts arguing that this country should be a secular state and that we should learn something from turkey etc etc but what about other things.

Dont try to be pretensious, do we need others to write about our core problems, Dictatorship is just not the only problem we have, common people have got some other things to face.

Rooh afza, Qawwali, changa manga are not Pakistan at all.

You can write about a guy who participated in some American Talent show but you cant write about the movie that came out recently i.e MIGHTY HEART.

I mean that makes me laugh, look at your commentors, most of them live in fools paradise. I get embarrased when i think that these ppl reperesnt Pakistan all over the world, academic qualification doesnt make you enlightened you got to open up your mind and heart to recieve knowledge. There are so many degree holders in our country and abraod(representing Pakistan) who are stuck at the intellect level of 18-yead-old kid.
