Photo news stories used to be a regular feature of ATP. See here, here and here. I am reviving the tradition here. Oh, but the title should not be mixed with akhbar-e-jahaaN‘s series of ‘3 auraten 3 kahaniaan’. If you are looking for fiction, you probably won’t find it here. Below are life moments as they come: visually.

The photo to the right is courtesy of Dawn. It shows motorcyles parked illegally being lifted in Rawalpindi. While supremacy of law is being upheld, I am not sure why the supermanly act atop forklift blades is going on. Who is this guy? Most likely he is the one who puts motorcyles on forklift blades but then he is either too lazy to get back to the seat or he is up there to make sure motorcycles do not fall.

The photo to the left was published in Daily Express couple of days back. Self explanatory it is. A scene of Lahore high court. The elderly man enjoys his quick sooota  (cigarette’s puff) right under the No Smoking Zone shade. A ban’s enforced by Supreme Court of Pakistan at all public places and transportation in Pakistan.

So there you go. More food for thought.

Too funny. Unfortunately, I have personal experience with some of this, once my own transportation was lifted in KHI.

This is the kind of madness that you see every day whenever you go. I’m not talking bout people have park their bicycles or cycles or motorbikes and no parking areas but about the policeman who try to abuse them and by charging more money would they can afford and asking for bribes. Although morally no one should be cracking the no parking space but considering the month of population growth and amount of bikes that are coming on the road daily how can we stop people from parking in no parking areas and it is no place for them to park. Most of the time whenI have to go shopping, I use public transport because normally there is no place to park.

About the no smoking in public places I’m with you guys are within 110% as a non-smoker I cannot stand anyone smoking and dishing out the spoke on other people’s faces as it is more harmful to person who inhales the secondhand smoke rather than the person smoking a cigarette. so yes that should be banned and everyone should be fine first working in a public place but then who is going to do that.

I agree with you Saleem, this nation is so talented but over all that our nation is also very crazy. They never think whats right or whats wrong. Furthermore they also never realize what others would be thinking for them over their stupid actions (which they themselves don’t consider stupid!).

This is why such things happens so commonly in our society.
