As of right now, time is 8:31 p.m CST and following are the first 4 out of 6 headlines on front page of Pakistan’s largest English daily.

(1) Lahore: Spate of attacks leaves 27 dead, 30 injured.
(2) Quetta: Two injured in grenade attack
(3) Peshawar: Huge blast strikes, several injured
(4) Kohat: Eleven killed in suicide attack

What has World come up to? What has happened to my dear Pakistan where I used to roam care free? I can also wirte a long ‘jazbaati’ post but words have lost meanings in these numbing times. The truth is that I am also out of words to express myself to any more superlatives of anguish and sorrow. The same sad story has been written and discussed several times at ATP pages in past 2 years. It is also a reason that it took me several hours to finally come around and write this post. Very naively I was hoping for all bad news to somehow go away so I don’t have to write this. How childish of me.

We want peace. I want peace.

tum apne aqeedoN ke nezay, har dil mein utaare jaate ho
ham log mohabbat waale hain, tum khanjar kiyooN lehraate ho
is shehr meiN naghme behnay do
is shehr meiN hum ko rehnay do
ham paalun-har haiN phooloN ke, hum khushboo ke rakh-waale haiN
tum kis ka lahoo peene aaye, hum pyar sikhaane waale haiN

Murtuza S…there you go again..this time equating more than 100 millions muslims of India to a handful of muslims that work in the film industry….But then again it is not your fault….because you truly believe that all one needs is to watch Bollywood movies to learn all about India….

You have shown enough of your colors….better stop your ignorant rant while you are ahead!!!!!

    @Murtaza

Taliban spokesmen and Taliban commanders have openly accepted responsibility for bombings, raids, kidnapping and beheading in Pakistan. Hence you cannot use the usual “denial and conspiracy theory” tricks to confuse people. The Taliban have murdered 100 Pakistanis in last few days and accepted responsibility, its time for you to wake up to that.

we have been going through worst and every thing turns good after such situation and what more worst can happen more to our mother land. INSHALLAH every thing will turn good and that day will come soon. Things have to turn good.

What boggles my mind is why are there no raids being conducted by the law enforcement agencies? Why are they not savaging the hate factories (so-called madrasas) and pulling out their leaders by their hair on to the streets? Where are the human-rights violators when we need them? What kind of army is this that stands by when their own are being killed? Unfortunately, we all know the answer to this already: the kind of army which has been living it up in their million dollar banglows, their private clubs and lavish lifestyles. What do they care!

Murtza S….who gave you the mandate to decide what is halal and haram? That decision belongs to Allah and the last I checked this authority has not been delegated to the musalmans who can’t even agree which day to celebrate Eid!!!

The problem are the people like you and Talibans who want to force the rest of the world to follow their own interpretation of religion….Well guess what…we don’t agree with it and are equally prepared to defend our right to worship Allah/Khuda/God the way we believe is correct….

Pakistan Zindabad and YES….after hating Pakistan Army for 25 years …today I too say… Go get them boys…we are with you!!! Allah tumarah Hafiz aur Nagehban!!!
