Just how inhuman can the murderous zeal of fanatics be?

Here are the essential facts: Two suicide killers, hiding behind burqas, murdered more than 40 people, and injured another 60+, in two explosions minutes apart, at an IDP (internally displaced peoples) refugee camp at Katcha Pakka near Kohat, as they gathered to register for relief goods and as food was being distributed to them.

Yes, you read it right.

They murdered people who have already been made homeless. They killed people gathered to collect food and relief goods. They killed deliberately. They murdered on purpose. This was not an accident or bad planning. They had planned to kill. They had wanted to murder. They planned to kill women and children and innocent civilians.

That is exactly what they wanted to do. That is exactly what they did.

This is neither unique as an incident nor unique in its brutality and inhumanity.

Yesterday, it was a hospital – yes, hospital – that was attacked in Quetta where Muslims were mourning the death of a murdered Shia leader.

The butchers were butchering. Deliberately. Purposefully. Inhumanly.

The blood boils, eyes swell up and humanity cries whenever an innocent soul is killed. No matter why. No matter by whom. No matter how. But when the murder is so callous, so planned, so deliberate, so inhuman, the heart skips a beat, the mind is baffled, and something dies within each one of us. There is nothing more left to say.

What can one say that has not been said before. One seethes in ones anger. One sends out a silent prayer. One wipes off the tears. And one stares into the darkness. Trying desperately, trying senselessly, trying uselessly, to understand why anyone could do such a thing. How anyone could do such a thing.

One stares into the darkness. Knowing full well that no darkness known to man could be darker than the darkness that breeds this murder.

    @Adnan:
Fortunately I don’t have any one to follow. I’ve got my own brain and my own judgment. And fortunately, its always been a pleasure to submit to it alone.

So please spare me the preaching.. no matter how much you associate yourself with those “great” men.. its only your own judgment in the end.. ur just like I am.. so please spare me the holier attitude as well..

And if we both have to live together on the same piece of land.. you better behave .. either live and let live.. or stop crying when your friends get bombed..

You have yet to tell us the Islamic (and hence peaceful) way to stop the Taliban from forcing their lifestyle on the rest of us.

Or is it that even the Taliban are fake ???

    Waiting…

  2. I have got worried now as I am realizing that this wave of terrorism is coming again after a bit silence but I want to say one thing to all people especially who blame Taliban or any other religious forces after such incidents that don’t we think that why Islam (being the only true religion of the world) is being labeled as Terrorism in this era? The reality is a that Islam is being maligned through such incidents by their agents in order to provoke hatred against Muslims (especially practicing ones) as Islam is seen by the global forces as a threat to their interest based capitalistic economies in the world. That’s why all such campaign is going on against Islam internationally and conspiracies are much more deep.

The lead heroin of “Swat Drama” denies any such case:

    paktribune.com/news/index.shtml?213299

When DG ISPR claims that Indian and Afghanis are funding these militants then these Indian and American apologists shy away and try to make noise to hide the truth. A sad tactic which never works anyway

  4. Adnan says:

Ammar: I already posted the URL to refute the video. Can you come up an authentic evidence beside counting on “Muslim Khan” that video is genuine. Provide the counter proof and I will argue with you to tell you that it is fake. Even the engineer of the video, Azab MinAllah is not categorically denying it.

Oh, b/w the residents became IDPS due to Pakistan Army Operations rather than due to “so called Talibans”. DOnt make cunning attempts to prove your point of view. Not everyone is living in a delusional world to understand how these people got displaced.

  5. Ammar says:

The Kohat tragedy cannot be described into words, the magnitude of tragedy cannot be comprehended as those who lost their lives were homeless IDP’S who were forced to leave their homes due to the Taliban atrocities, yet the barbarians chased them.

@Adnan Siddiqui , Adil has not anywhere in his post tried to blame Islam, and neither are the Taliban torchbearers of Islam, and you have once again mentioned the Sawat flogging video, which is very much authentic could you present an evidence apart from a hoax news report?
And also what is your take on WHO is responsible for the Kohat massacre?
