Adil Najam

In another year that has been tough for Pakistan and particularly tough for minorities in Pakistan, another Christmas approaches. And like Christmases all over the world, Christians in Pakistan prepare to celebrate in their own ways.

In churches all over Pakistan, in communities, on streets, in mohallas where Pakistani Christians live the festivities have arrived. Sometimes modest, sometimes elaborate, everywhere present. I noticed it this morning when passing though a part of F-7/4 in Islamabad where many Christians live and where rides for children had been placed and buntings were being put up.

To share that spirit and to wish all Pakistani Christians a Merry Christmas, here is a sampling of recent photographs of Christmas preparations, Pakistan style. The first picture is from Peshawar, the next three from Lahore and the last two from Islamabad.

Merry Christmas to all Christians in Pakistan. Here in Greece we have a huge number of Pakistanis living and working, mostly Muslims. We have no problem with them. We have learned a lot about what Islam is from them and Muslims from other countries as well. Christians and Muslims should try to understand and respect each other. Life is too short to be wasted in disputes and hatred. After all, we are all human beings, let us coexist and live in harmony.

Happy Christmas to all Christan community. Please try to understand what Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him is for us. Did you ever see any muslims saying some thing against Prophet Jesus peace be upon him. Did you ever see we ever said Jesus instead of (Jesus Peace be upon him) . Then what make you feel better to insult Prophet Muhamad PBUH.
As for as Law is concern law is ok may be implementation is wrong you can say the investigation should be better. But the time and money you are spending against this law if you spend that money to teach christians not to insult any religion that can be settle the situation. Please learn to respect the other religion. Did you find any muslim burning Bible. did any masjid announces that. Please try to think who is spreading hate. and follow them follow your religion and respect other religion. I respect all Christians in Pakistan and some of my best friends are christians never had any issue with them cause they never insult.
