These two photographs – both taken during the recent visit of the Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani to Afghanistan to meet with Afghan Prime Minister Hamid Karzai – are rather interesting.
Although this is most likely just the magic of the camera at the moment it was clicked and signifies nothing of import, one wonders what could be done with these with some creative speculative energy. The body language captured in these is suggestive, although one is not sure suggestive of what. In the spirit of good humor, one wonders what the two are saying to each other, or what they might be thinking about each other, at this time.
Any ideas?

Karzai: We are going to get rid of radicalism and extremism from Afghanistan by the end of this year.
Gilani: Control Pa Ji Control.

Gilani giving a sheepish smile.
Karzai: Amreeka has agreed to push all Talibans to Waziristan since you insist so much on stopping drone attacks. OK, so keep smiling otherwise people will notice your wet pants.
Karzai: [pointing at the light signal] Yaar, it’s green. So we can cross the intersection.
Gilani: [stopping Karzai with his hand]. No, are you crazy? Wait till Amreekka says it’s ok to go.
Next scene & story:
Karzai: [explaining] Sorry, yaar, after all, we’re both Khotas, so I sometimes make stupid mistakes.
Gilani: [Nervous and sweating] Oh my God! I almost thought you’d cross and get us both in trouble. Look: people around are screaming with laughter, and they’re shouting: Khotay! Khotay! Khotay! ….

gillani: really, tell me

Second photo is Karzai is giving advice to Gillani on how to heal with American special representatives…. Here says,
“One word, my friend, one word: LAZXATIVES”
THEY SAY,[IN GUJARATI]”AAPNE BANNE HARKHA ,ARE MARO MALIK AMERICA”,..TRANSLATION “WE BOTH ARE SAME OUR MASTER IS AMERICA.”
