Musharraf seemed to be very irate when Talat quoted some quotes from a US official. He literally had lot his temper and I thought he was going to tell Talat to get lost.
Military dictators are not visionary and their power lies in bullets not ballots. Gen Musharraf is no exception. He is adamant to be elected for another term with his uniform.
But the recent events have thoroughly shaken after his action against the CJP. The movement is gaining momentum.
Recent events in Karachi has exposed him as a narrow minded leader who preferred to act as an ethnic leader and chose to ally himself with a linguistic ethnic organisation which does not need any introduction. He should have shown his concern in the aftermath of 5/12 but instead chose to pat on the back of arch terrorist Altaf Hussain.
Observer, which out of the 7 segements is that in, if you remember? In part 2 Musharraf gets irate when Talat Hussain says that he has a legitimacy crisis :)
Samdani, that’s what I have found from that period. Feel free however to present alternate view.

Seems a little odd to use one dictator’s (Ayub Khan’s) gawahi against another dictator’s (Musharraf’s) lawyer.
I am sorry but I am in no mood to consider Ayub Khan as a moral authority on teh immorality of other people. Also, why are the same comments being posted every post (spamming). Are you trying to sell his book or something?
President Ayub Khan’s opinion on Shareefuddin Peerzada (General’s Lawyer);
