If you think this is an English countryside castle then you are wrong. This is a fascinating place of great historical importance located somewhere in Pakistan. Some ATP readers would immediately recognize it and other won’t. If you know this place then hold your answer for a while (but please comment and give a hint to others though). So lets see how many of you can guess a) what it is, b) where, and b) to whom it belongs? Happy guessing.
As usual, answer and info about original photograph coming up in 2-3 days.
I think it is a palace in northern Pakistan.
It is located in Nathiagali.
The Quaid e Azam residency at Ziarat where the great leader spent his last year fighting with consumption.
Of course most Pakistanis being completely ignorant of Pakistan represent Balochistan with the picture and caption it Quaid e Azam residency, Quetta.
First, what a beautiful location. I have been to Ziarat and to Jinnah’s residence (although I was only ~10 at the time), and I don’t remember it being anything like this. That area was more up and down; I don’t think there is as much flat land there as there seems to be in the picture.
@ I am surprised that we have many commenters
insist that its Ziarat’s historical edifice, NOT AT ALL.
I think the respectable comments have become victims
of the “visual” load shedding.
Either, its Muree, or perhaps one of the Pakistan’s
Paradisiac hill stations, or NWFP’s janat landscape
residence built during colonial period.
