Flying donkey

Who should one commend here. The donkey for his running skills, the driver for his panache, or the photographer for excellent shot. We have raked our head for a caption that would do justice to the shot. Can you suggest one?

This photo is courtesy of Jahangir Khan at Associated Press of Pakistan. Subject is a donkey driven race cart seen near Jinnah Bridge Karachi on July 25, 2008.

whole LOTA love: Ben Khur!!!! Nice take on Ben Hur. ‘Chariot of Khur’ could also be appropriate.

BTW. The word ‘Khur’ meaning donkey has Persian origin. For example ‘Khur-gosh’ meaning ‘donkey-ears’ and ‘Khur-damagh’ meaning……you got it.

I also like what Nihari says, “when donkeys will fly, Zardari will become President.” From Jinnah to Zardari; what a journey. I wonder what Zulfiqar Ali would have thought of Asif Ali, both as son-in-law and president of this unfortunate country.

I think it is a pre-mature shot. The photographer should have waited a few more seconds, and am sure he could have snapped a flying cart at the back of flying donkey, in a perfect take off position. Well, keep your fingers crossed for anything and everything folks, as this is our Great Pakistan.

By the way HATS OFF to the stake holders in the picture, nevertheless the photographer has done a good job too. :)
