PAKISTAN IS THE GREAT. PAKISTAN ZINDABAD
No, this was NOT South Africa ‘losing’, this really was Pakistan winning. If you saw teh actual game it was clear that this was a victory of Pakistan strategy and boldness. When Pakistan was unable to score much in the last 5 overs (we also had 6 wickets) it did seem it wodl be difficult, but it was the bowlers and teh captaining that contained the South Africans. NOT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TRY BUT BECAUSE PAKISTAN REALLY MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO SCORE. THE CAPTAINING WAS ALSO SUPERB AND HAD MUCH TO DO WITH CONTAINING THE SOUTH AFRICANS.
It’s nice that Pakistan has won but seriously, its more of South Africa’s fault than our efforts :)… They had five wickets ! .. They didn’t even try ~
“It is not the case of pressure, we were just beaten by a better
team.”
———–Graeme Smith, South Africa’s Skipper
Thank you, Mr. Smith for your sportsman’s spirit, and your
gracious acceptance of the outcome. It is a breath of fresh air
after the bitter taste from Vettori’s sour grapes.
Inshallah they win the Finals…this victory could not have come at a better time for the entire nation..
