    Yes, Alam Lohar was a performer of great merit. YOU went to ‘see’ him as much as you went to hear him. The thing I remember most about him is how he was always smiling and happy and made others happy. And his great story-telling.

    The beauty of Jugni is always that it can be made topical to anything and to current affairs. That was the beauty of Alam Lohar and in many ways I think Arif Lohar has never been able to replicate that impromptu feeling that Alam Lohar always had.
