Walking down a street in Singapore, I came across this poster. If you are going to say ‘yeah – so what?’ or what is the maqsad (purpose) of this post then my answer would be imagine if you are walking on a street outside Pakistan and you see this poster – then won’t you get stuck for few moments? That is what happened to me. I got stuck on this poster for few seconds and took this photo. I was not expecting a Pakistani promotion on a street in Singapore. I also didn’t know that Pakistan is the 2nd largest exporter of clothing in the World. After looking at the poster, I saw a world of potential. Do you?

I hope they will see here what goodwill for them this creates amongst Pakistanis.
Thankyou Owais for this post. Though I have doubds since our industry has already been ruined due to loadsheding and other issues. How come we are still No.2 in this field? I think HSBC needs to recheck the stats.

@Chris, Suresh: This blog’s title is ‘Pakistaniat’ which sort of conveys the message that Pakistanis gather here to celebrate, analyze and even criticize their homeland. Since you are not a Pakistani, and evidently have nothing remotely intelligent to contribute, why bother writing dumb comment? Why on earth do you two choose to search this page, come here, and then spew hatred? Get a life guys!
Chris…. Just lets compare numbers…. Innocent people killed by (which is not proven and all the proofs point to US) Al-Qaeda in 9/11 a few hundred…. Innocent people killed by America hmmm lets see where should i start…. In Japan (millions) which include destroying there generations as well…. In Iraq (thousands)…. In Afghanistan (thousands)…. These are just to name a few…. America cannot afford peace economically…. A large percent of its export is Weaponry…. And they just can’t export if world is at peace….
Folks, who are accusing Pakistan of those horrible things, chill out. Pakistani also has Asia’s largest humanitarian network in the form of Edhi foundation.
