Dear Readers,
While All Things Pakistan has remained alive and online, it has been dormant since June 11, 2011 - when, on the blog's 5th anniversary, we decided that it was time to move on. We have been heartened by your messages and the fact that a steady traffic has continued to enjoy the archived content on ATP. While the blog itself will remain dormant, we are now beginning to add occasional (but infrequent) new material by the original authors of the blog, mostly to archive what they may now publish elsewhere. We will also be updating older posts to make sure that new readers who stumble onto this site still find it useful.
We hope you will continue to find ATP a useful venue to reflect upon and express your Pakistaniat. - Editors

Anyone notice the number of ladies in headscarves? More proof, if any was needed, of the influence Al-Huda/Farhat Hashmi have these days on the Auntie crowd… whatever was wrong with the good ol’ dupatta?
Bhai logaan…itna tapnay ki kia zaroorat hai…ho sakta hai shayar kisi acchay mulak kao aur us kay mulk mein bohut ho….agar aapka peechay wala muluk phateechar hai tu is mein shayar banday ka ki kasoor.
Dont mislead people, I dont think I ever regreted leaving pakistan not even for a second.

And Typical Reponse from Desis abroad over the Bitter Reality.Horizons , Education, Opportunities, Helping and Donating through Wallets that jingles with Coins, Arm Chair Patriots, Cyber-Crtiticizers, Key Board Saviours , Corruption, no jobs , no money , no respect etc etc ! Worst % of Doctors available to patients in world and one say to Patients” Oh Look , I have sent so and so K’s of Dollars in past 10 years”.Subsitituting personal expertise and skills which initially get from thier country and suddenly every opportunity vanish from here ! Trying to be Brown Sahibs but still no use on Heathrow and JFK.
Still in this midst of absurdity , we have such examples and such inviduals that even Pakistan feels proud of them !

And one more thing , Silakot Incident is worst example of brutality but there is no need to paste it on whole community.Such examples are also to found in Abu Gharib , Guantanamo and Iraq’s superficial Nuclear Weapons due to which 1 million have so far lost thier lives.Society dosnt comprised of one shade and one spectrum that everyone should be blamed for the act of some individuals.
