Today: Suicide Blast in Adezai near Peshawar kills 37, injures 52.

Yesterday: A car bomb in Faisalabad kills 25, injures 125.

The Taliban, in both cases, take “credit” for murder and mayhem.

What is there is to add? Pakistanis cry. Pakistanis die.

Our tears have no value. Our pain has no standing. Our words have no meaning. The absurdity that we live has no limits. Jo marra woh bhi shaheed. Jiss nay maara woh bhi shaheed.

Tomorrow: More Pakistanis will die. Tomorrow more Pakistanis will cry. But, tomorrow is another day!

    @Maja
    Who will your Tahrir square be against? There is no dictator here. There is only us. WE are the bad guys! WE are the enemy.

  4. Maja says:

    We need a Tahrir square and the spirit of the Egyptian

    so much has been written, said, and blogged about on this issue. as you justifiably ask:’what is there to add”? words of condemnation and outrage have become utterly meaningless.

    i pray for the victims and their bereaved families, but there is no way that the killers are also shaheed. they are beasts, beasts, and beasts; nothing less.

    the ultimate blame and responsibility for this clearly lies with all the intelligence agencies (civil as well as military), the national security planners, and the ghq. there is no point in making speeches of condemnation, even protesting on the streets.

    what is really needed is a massive long march to, and unrelenting stoning of, the ghq headquarters.

    woe unto the nation whose establishment is willing to let the citizens be mowed down on the streets like dogs.
