Adil Najam

Today: Suicide Blast in Adezai near Peshawar kills 37, injures 52.

Yesterday: A car bomb in Faisalabad kills 25, injures 125.

The Taliban, in both cases, take “credit” for murder and mayhem.

What is there is to add? Pakistanis cry. Pakistanis die.

Our tears have no value. Our pain has no standing. Our words have no meaning. The absurdity that we live has no limits. Jo marra woh bhi shaheed. Jiss nay maara woh bhi shaheed.

Tomorrow: More Pakistanis will die. Tomorrow more Pakistanis will cry. But, tomorrow is another day!

Meray Shehr jal rahey haiN, Meray Loug mar rahey haiN
Hum he Qatl ho rahey haiN, hum he Qatl kar rahey haiN

Keep your hopes alive, Pakistanis, soon things are going to change, INSHAALLAH

  2. Kafir Per Pakistani Law says:

Thank God no one is saying, ‘Khas Kum Jahan Paak’ (it is good garbage is less and world is clean) after murder of Muslims in mosques. When Qadianis were killed in May 2010 in their mosques many people in streets of Pakistan said ‘Khas Kum Jahan Paak’.

    Personal Disclosure:
    I hold belief that:
1-There is no God but Allah (SWT) and Muhammad (SAWS) WAS HIS LAST AND GREATEST PROPHET.
2-No new or old prophet can come after Rasul Allah SAWS.
3-I consider all reciters of Kalima-Shahada as Muslims.
4-I do NOT belong to Qadiani organization headed by their Khalifa residing in England, that holds belief that thousands of prophets can come after Rasul Allah SAWS (nauzubilah), but they will only come in their Qadiani organization.

These animals, the Taliban destroy mosques and janazas in the name of their perverted beliefs. What jahalat is this.

    Thanks KM!
    I checked into your link.

I would rent it out to Turkey instead of China.

  5. SJH says:

Systems of government only exist as long as they provide a net benefit to those they govern. It appears to me that Pakistan’s various experiments in governance, whether martial law or a bastardized version of electoral democracy, have failed. The present system is not working for Pakistanis or for Pakistan – something has got to give. Countries that fail don’t wither away and die, they continue to exist and people continue to live in them. They just organize themselves in ways that are not inline with prior national identities. In an environment where government cannot provide the basics of life, the role of civil society organizations and philanthropic organizations becomes even more important as they have to take on responsibilities that the state should be expected to fulfill.
