In days like these when so much of the news is so very despressing, good news feels even better than it does in good times.
I remember how good I felt when I first read (and wrote) about Rahim Khan Khilgi about a year ago. I felt exactly the same way today when I got an email alerting me to a blogpost in The Consumerist about an unnamed “Conscientious Customer” from Pakistan.
The post in The Consumerist comes from someone called Patrick and is described as an “above and beyond” story. Let us hear what Patrick has to say.

Today, November 20, is Universal Children Day. I wanted to post this picture to commemorate the day because it depicts childhood as childhood should be, not as it often becomes.
The original caption tells us that the old man is telling stories to his grandchildren and that this was taken near Sumandri in the Punjab. The expression on the children’s face is priceless (click on picture to see higher resolution). Even though we cannot see the grandfather’s face, it is clear that he is enjoying his time with his grandchildren as much as they are with him.

Donkeys (here and here) and Locomotion (at too many places..1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14) have always got prominent place on ATP pages. How about following photo from outside Badshahi mosque Lahore where a donkey and a train come together for this classic donkomotion shoot. ek ticket mein do mazay. Flat face and long face expressions of passengers however, show the ride may not be too exciting.
