I tried calling the emergency number but no response. Wanted to check if it even worked.

    @Hassan
Why would you call the number for no reason. Its idiot calls like that which will block it up for people who have real reasons to call!

I did not know anyone in this crash. But I just read through the whole list. And just doing that brought tears to my eyes. The familiar sounding names, whose lives have been wasted for no reason. May their souls rest in peace.

Sorry that people have died, but people pay for their sins but the horribleness of their death. Your country has been doing so much terrorism that it has to suffer in different ways.

    Dear Amarnath,

I request you to refrain from posting your negative judgemental comments upon a national tragedy – Or otherwise, Air India Express disaster in Bangalore is still a fresh memory, you can keep your self busy in finding out whether against which Sins those passengers paid the price of such horrible suffering.

    Many Thanks & Regards.

I hope everyone will just ignore the deplorable comment from Amarnath above. Every society has its idiots, and we in India have ours too.

Deepest condolences on this tragedy. May their loved ones have the strength to bear this loss.

It’s really tragic. One of my good friends Farooq Nadeem who lived in Karachi lost his life in the crash, as did a Pakistani-American acquaintance of mine Naseem Aftab who was traveling in Pakistan.

May Allah rest their souls in peace!

A heartbreaking tragedy indeed. Have also lost someone dear who used to be a neighbour. Andaleeb Junaid, a wonderful young lady who has left behind a husband and three young children.May the Almighty give courage to her family and the families of all those who have lost their lives.
I hope a proper and intelligent inquiry of the crash is carried out so that such terrible mishaps can be avoided in the future.

    Amarnath,

Using your logic, Indian are paying for what we have done to the lower castes for thousands of years and westerners are paying for imperialism. It is people like you who make me ashamed of being an Indian. What can one say, 60 years of propaganda and hate mongering create people like you.

My condolences to Pakistani people on this tragedy.

    Hi Sara,

I too once knew Andaleeb, when she was just a college girl, and I, a ten year old. She was a friend of my sister’s and was truly an exemplary girl. I remember the last time I saw her was at my sister’s wedding – she was so excited, dancing about, so full of life.

I feel for her sons. I too lost a parent at a very young age. It is crippling. May Allah help them recover from this enormous loss and find them the source of guidance and love that their mother would have provided.

If you have her family’s contact information or address, please do let me know. My e-mail address is malik.em@gmail.com.

    Dear Saira and Malik:

I am grateful for ur comments abt my dearest friend, confidant and wife, Andaleeb. She had been the best thing that happened to me in my life…. Life without her is a misery, but our three beautiful boys aged 8, 6 and 3 will inshallah keep me going. Please keep us in your prayers and that Allah give us Sabar and make us Shakir on all that he has given to us and for all that he has taken from us.

    Sincerely,

    Junaid Hamid
