While All Things Pakistan has remained alive and online, it has been dormant since June 11, 2011 - when, on the blog's 5th anniversary, we decided that it was time to move on. We have been heartened by your messages and the fact that a steady traffic has continued to enjoy the archived content on ATP. While the blog itself will remain dormant, we are now beginning to add occasional (but infrequent) new material by the original authors of the blog, mostly to archive what they may now publish elsewhere. Please keep us posted on when this piece is also removed from the Art Gallery as the tolerance level of the 65 year old General is very very low now… he is fed up of all the ignorant “awam – masses” who do not understand his wonderful ideas of enlightened moderation.
They are being taught by the General great lessons; let’s see how quickly these dirty civilians understand what is best for them…as envisioned by the General in the form of puppet assembly, puppet government and now puppet courts.

Actually the term lota is from “be-paandey ka lota” which means it has no base and rolls from place to place. but these lotas have bases.

THE POLITICAL PARTIES SHOULD MAKE A JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT AS FOLLOWS”
ALL THOSE CIVIL SERVANTS WHO WILL CUT THEMSELVES OFF FROM THE RULING PARTY (LIKE THE JUDGES OF SUPREME AND HIGH COURTS) WILL NOT ONLY BE GIVEN AMNESTY BUT REWARDED BY THE NEXT GOVT.
